Brijesh Patel, chairman of the IPL Governing Council, has clarified that the 13 seasons of the Indian Premier League will last 51 days. The tournament will start on September 19, and therefore the final is going to be played on November 8. The BCCI may announce the schedule of 13 seasons of the IPL within every week.

The IPL has been made possible after the ICC decided to cancel the T20 World Cup to be played in October-November. Earlier, it had been thought that the tournament could start on September 26, but now it could start every week earlier.
