An accident has taken place on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express Highway. A total of 40 to 45 vehicles collided with each other. According to preliminary details, no casualties were reported in the accident. Only the carriages are damaged.


 The foggy weather in the state since early morning has led to accidents due to low visibility on the highway. People who drive at speeds of 100 on the highway are now forced to drive at speeds of 30. People standing at the toll booth say that even a view from 100 feet away is not clear at present due to fog on the highway.

There was thick fog on the highway since this morning, which reduced visibility. Vehicles collided with each other due to speed on the express highway. 

Heavy fog was also observed in Bhal panth including Tarapur of Anand in the morning. Vehicles on the highway had to stop early in the morning due to fog. Drivers had to face a lot of difficulties as visibility was very low. The fog will benefit the wheat crop in the area.
