Maharashtra ranks first among foreign visitors
According to 2017 data, 50,78,514 or 18.9% foreign tourists visited Maharashtra. Maharashtra is one of the top 10 destinations visited by foreign tourists. Since then 48,60,455 people i.e. 18.1% people have visited Tamil Nadu. Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala, Bihar, Karnataka and Goa are among the top 10 states in the country.



 Where foreign tourists visited the most. A total of 2,06,20,863 or 88.4% tourists visited these top-10 states. And 27,05,300 tourists visited other states. A total of 2,33,26,136 people from across the country visited various states of India in the year 2017.

Tamil Nadu ranks first among Indian tourists
According to the data of the year 2017, 345 million 61 thousand 140 people i.e. 20.9% of Indian tourists visited Tamil Nadu. The second highest number of 23 crore 39 lakh 77 thousand 619 people from Uttar Pradesh i.e. 14.2% of Indian tourists visited. In addition, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat and Rajasthan were in the top-10 states. Where most Indian tourists visited.




According to 2017 data, more than 34 crore Indian tourists visited Tamil Nadu

In the year 2017, a total of 165 crore 24 lakh 85 thousand 357 Indian tourists visited various states of India. A total of 138 crore 8 lakh 96 thousand 844 Indian tourists visited the top-10 states. At the same time 27 crore 15 lakh 88 thousand 513 people visited other states.
