It will have a very adverse effect on the livelihood
of kite traders. In addition, the sale of kite strings should be banned so that people do not flock to the markets to buy kite strings. Kite makers say that if such a ban is imposed, their hard work throughout the year will be in vain and their livelihood will be adversely affected. These petitioners have also submitted that the demand made by the original applicant is tantamount to violating the constitutional rights of the kite makers.
