If you don't like the photo in the work / AADHAAR card, change it like this, know the easy process to update it.

No need to worry if your photo is badly printed on your Aadhaar card and you are planning to change it but can't change it. Today we are going to show you very simple ways that you can easily put your good photo on the base.

It may be mentioned that before UIDAI, Aadhar card had an online facility to update the name, address and mobile number as well as the photo in it but now you can only change the address online. Other than that you have to apply offline for other changes. If you want to make any changes in your photo, you have to go to your nearest nomination center and apply by post later. So let us know the process

Download the Aadhaar Nomination / Update Form by going to the Get AADHAAR section on the official website of UIDAI and then fill up the form and submit it to the Aadhaar Service Center. At the Nomination Center you will have your fingerprints, retina scans and photographs captured a second time and you will have to pay Rs 50 to update your information. After doing so, you will receive a URN after the application has been accepted to update your photo. These numbers allow you to track your application online. After which you will get a new Aadhaar card with updated picture in about 90 days.

You can also update by writing a letter

If you do not want to go to the Aadhaar Service Center, you can write to the UIDAI Regional Office to get the Aadhaar card amended. For that go to https://uidai.gov.in/ and download the ‘Aadhaar Card Update Correction’ form. Then fill in the details asked in the form and then write a letter to update the name of the field office of UIDAI on the Aadhaar card and attach a self attested photo with it and post it. After which the Aadhaar card with new photograph will reach your home within a week.
